All fighters for tomorrow night’s explosive double headliner made weight without much difficulty. Nick Diaz and Paul Daley exchanged words during their face off and had to be separated by event staff. This will be the first major event ran under Zuffa after the blockbuster purchase by the Las Vegas promotion.

Breaking News: UFC/Zuffa Purchases Strikeforce
Some said it would never happen, but as usual with theLas Vegas-based company, the largest Mixed Martial Arts promotion on the planet is getting even bigger.
MMAFighting’s own Ariel Helwani just broke the news that the UFC has indeed purchased San Jose’s Strikeforce.
